  • CAD architect Joanna Dabrowska and artist Adele Renault

Craftsmen – we would like to specifically thank the following skilled artisans who worked on the build: Duncan Passmore (tyre walls and carpentry), Sian Ormrod (everything), Claire Blanchard (adobe / lime plastering), Matthew Ash (master carpentry), Don Mclean (solar plumping), Daniel Delhomme (roofing), Dan Clarke (kitchen) , Eric Berthier (electrics), Justin Shanley & Christophe (stonework), Ash (walls), Ceri Fielding (carpentry), John and Pat Howarth, Simon Bottrell (graphics), Jon Kurdle (tyre walls), Azreen Noor (ceiling plaster), Vivienne and Howard Bowden (diggerwork), Anne Hauvespre (planning), Aime Morvant, Johhny Woodford (elmwork), David Watson (recycled glass floor tiles)

Experience weeks – throughout the build, and particularly the massive wall construction, we ran ‘experience weeks’.  These gave people with an interest in ecological building a chance to get some real experience in a small team.  Not only did the time and energy offered make a key part of the job happen, it also inspired us to keep going. A big thank you to all participants.

And finally, a big thank you to everyone who helped in getting materials and systems to us. In particular, thanks to the team at British Gas and Kloeber UK.
